That is also the ship's motto for the USS Excelsior, NCC-2000, built in the San Francisco Fleet Yards on Earth, commisioned on Stardate 8205.5
Later, another starship of the Constellation class, the USS Hathaway, NCC-2593, carried this same motto on her dedication plaque on her bridge. The Hathaway was built at the Copernicus Ship Yards, on Luna by Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems
